David Hyde Pearce bags 10th successive Emmy nomination

CALIFORNIA: Six Feet Under may be leading the Emmy nominations tally but its stars will have difficulty matching David Hyde Pearce.
The star of Frasier has received his tenth successive Emmy nomination. He has won the Emmy thrice. The show, which airs in India on Star World every Monday at 9:30 pm, received five nominations in total.
The shows creators/executive producers David Angell, Peter Casey and David Lee have between them received 27 Emmy Awards for the show over the years.
In a related development, Internet bookmaker Intertops.com has picked HBO's drama Six Feet Under as favourite against The Sopranos and The West Wing to win the most awards at the 55th Primetime Emmys on 21 September.
Sex And The City is tipped to win the best comedy series. Speaking on the news Intertops.com chief bet manager Michael Maerz said: "The Emmys are great for betting action.
