Yahoo to offer video news feeds from CNN, ABC News

MUMBAI: This is an initiative that seeks to take the concept of video on the web a step forward. Yahoo has announced that it will start offering news feeds from Disney's ABC News and Time Warner's CNN as part of the features on its Yahoo! News site from next month.
CNN.com will offer video clips daily and ABC News will offer a package of on demand video content. All of the video will be available for free to Yahoo users, and will be ad supported. ABC News and CNN.com content will be integrated throughout Yahoo News including on its front page, within story pages, and in other special sections of the site. It will also be made available to Yahoo!'s broadband service subscribers through its co-branded relationships with SBC Communications, Rogers Cable, BT and Verizon Communications.

Yahoo VP content operations Scott Moore says, "Video content is becoming an increasingly important component of the online news experience for Yahoo News users. These relationships with CNN, ABC are an important step in expanding the video content on our site".
