Vijay TV show 'Kuttram...' completes 25 weeks

MUMBAI: The programme Kuttram - Nadanthathu Yenna? based on crime and socially incorrect practices in various districts of Tamil Nadu has completed 25 weeks on Vijay TV. The weekly show (Monday-Thursday) air at 10 pm.
 

In the past, the crime show highlighted on issues like how Chennai autorickshaw meters were tricked to cheat passengers, a gripping story behind the trafficking of women in Karnataka, a story behind the gang that is responsible for the adulteration of petrol in many of the petrol bunks in Tamil Nadu and also how making of pornographic films is becoming a business that's targeting the youth.
 
 
According to an official release, many such incidents that were telecasted were most of the times followed up by the law.

In Tuticorin, there was an unidentified body and after showing this on the show, the identity of the dead person could be established and the truth behind the murder could also be brought to light. Kuttram has been critically acclaimed by newspapers as an example of infotainment.
