MUMBAI: Channel [V]'s former general manager Jules Fuller and former production head Elias Kazmi have been appointed consultants to oversee Pogos first-ever original production unit in India.

Fuller has been appointed as executive producer and Kazmi will be programming director. Turner Entertainment Networks Asia senior vice-president and general manager Ian Diamond says, "Our aim is to ensure that Pogo continues to be the market leader and dominate the kids space in the live action genre. The appointment of Jules Fuller and Elias Kazmi as consultants to Pogo underscores our commitment to offer premium content and balance our highly acclaimed, internationally acquired programming with high-quality locally produced original production."

Says Kazmi, Introducing local flavour is another significant step forward in the evolution of Pogo and we are thrilled to be part of this exciting evolution." Adds Fuller, Id already heard about the Pogo phenomenon in the UK, so to return to India for such an exciting project was an offer I could not refuse."

Kazmi has worked earlier as an independent consultant for the BBC and Zeal Television, UK, as head of production for all programming produced for Middle East and India. He was also the head of production at Channel [V] in India. He has also worked with Indian animation major Crest Communications and produced advertising films and television shows.

Fuller, who has specialised in music channels and youth entertainment programming, has worked in Europe and Asia, including seven years in India, for a cross-section of media companies including Channel [V] India as general manager.
