MUMBAI: Discovery Networks International has appointed New York-based Heller Communications to develop the brand identity for its upcoming launch of lifestyle channels. Three channels devoted to lifestyle programming will be launched in the fourth quarter of this year.

The channels will be first launched in India.

 
Discovery Network International senior vice-president, creative department Rebecca Batties has been quoted in a World Screen report as saying "Cheryl Heller (who heads Heller Communications) brings to Discovery Lifestyle Networks a wealth of experience in launching and moulding visual identities for new brands. Her work, which is contemporary and fresh, embodies the spirit and attitude of Discovery Lifestyle Networks."

Batties added that Heller's talent in developing brands with global relevance and local appeal would serve Discovery well and simplify the task of branding networks that must appeal to a wide range of cultures.
