LONDON: Three new music channels from the Sky stable -- Flaunt, Scuzz and The Amp -- will launch by 17 April 2003 coinciding with Easter weekend.

A Digitalsky report says that the stations, which began preliminary testing on Tuesday, will commence broadcast at 2pm on 17 April. Flaunt will launch on EPG 469, whilst Scuzz will occupy channel 471 and The Amp will be on 473.

Sky music channels head Lester Mordue was quoted as saying that the new music channels will offer a new vista by allowing viewers to vote with their remote control for the next video to be played. The report also says that a full programme lineup has yet to be released, although the Now and Next data indicates the presence of a jukebox element (similar to 'The Box') on each of the three channels.

Sky is promoting the music channels by using various ground events in pubs and hotspots all over London.
