MUMBAI: Hungama TV, the soon to be launched 24-hour Hindi children's entertainment channel, promoted by UTV, is organising personality development workshop across 11 cities.

The workshop is conducted by Satish Deshmukh, an entertainer and professional corporate illusionist and exclusively for the cable operator's children.

The objective of the workshop is to develop communication skills that are essential in all walks of life. Deshmukh also focuses on the key elements of personality development like leadership qualities, confidence, creative thinking and stage presentation.

The Mumbai leg of the workshop was held on 12 September at Tulip Star Hotel where Deshmukh honed the communication and interpersonal skills of the participants through a repertoire of magic tricks to enhance their confidence and communication skills.

The Mumbai workshop is part of 11-city programme, which would cover almost all children of the cable operators across these cities and their neighborhood, which started off at Pune on 11 September, according to the official release.

Highlighting the importance of all-round development of children, Hungama TV COO, Purnendu Bose states, "This is an initiative dedicated to our trade partners and it's our way of contributing to the overall personality development of the children of cable operators, which we believe will go a long way in shaping the identities of the citizens of tomorrow."

The workshop would proceed cover Ludhiana, Lucknow, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Surat, Nagpur and Kolkata, the programme will come to a close at Bangalore on 2 October.
