MUMBAI: Brett A. Paul has been promoted to executive vice president business affairs, operations and finance of Warner Bros. Television.

The announcement was made by Warner Bros. Television president Peter Roth.

Paul, who moves up from executive vice president business affairs, adds the day-to-day responsibility of legal affairs, financial affairs and administration to his current oversight of business affairs.

"Brett is a brilliant negotiator and an outstanding executive for whom I have the utmost respect. I look forward to working more closely with him in his new and well deserved position at our studio," said Roth.

Paul joined the company in 1995 as vice president, business affairs, and has risen steadily since then, serving that department in a variety of capacities and acting as a key negotiator for many of the studios most significant and high-profile licensing, overall, production company and talent deals.

Prior to joining Warner Bros., Paul was a corporate, securities lawyer at law firms in New York and Los Angeles, followed by a stint as vice president, business and legal affairs at All American Communications.
