Channel 7 introduces three new infotainment shows

MUMBAI: Off late news channels are exploring innovative ways for garnering extra eye balls. Channel 7 seems to be moving very hard into infotainment programming by adding a new dimension to regular news

The channel is set to launch three new infotainment features namely Lakshya, Raj-Ki-Niti and Ye Safar hai Suhana.

Daily half-an-hour show Lakshya will feature career and employment aspects, while Raj-Ki-Niti, another daily half-an-hour show, will cover the stories on the top political news. Ye Safar hai Suhana, a weekly half an hour show, which will beam within news bulletins as daily news segments on travel destinations and holiday activities.

These new shows are targeted at making the content offering from Channel 7 complete in every aspect for they go beyond regular news reportage, in a statement issued by Channel 7.

The channel will also air a special series IIFA Safar, covering the IIFA awards to be held in Amsterdam on 11 June.
