'Outback Jack' premiers on Star World

MUMABI: The reality craze seems to be on the roll in India. Star World would be introducing a new reality programme OutBack Jack on 10 February at 10 pm.

A series of new show with comedy elements combined with romance and adventure are going with plenty of unexpected twists and turns.

According to an official communiqué, Outback Jack which creates the ultimate test of love as 12 women vie for the affections of a rugged Australian adventurer, Outback Jack. What the women don't realize, until it's too late, is that they must make a leap of faith by parachuting into the middle of Australia's expansive Outback wilderness.

Outback Jack which premiered on Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (TBS, Inc.), a Time Warner company, is a major producer of news and entertainment product, last year.

After making it to the ground, they are shocked to discover the potential man of their dreams is not living a life of luxury, but roughing it in one of the world's most unforgiving terrains. Over the course of eight episodes, the women will be put to the test, to see which one of them has the stamina to make it in the Outback and win the affection of their handsome hero.

Programme producer Brue Nash as quoted in the statement adds, "It's a real-life romantic comedy. These are women who don't like camping. Most of them have never even been camping. The outdoors? Bugs? Forget about it."

"They'll be going on dates, but it's dinner in a tree house or things involving camels and horses," he said.
