MUMBAI: This month Discovery looks to hook viewers by examining the how and why behind some of the most famous disasters of our time. Zero Hour will air every Tuesday from 2 November at 9 pm.

The first episode looks at the Disaster at Chernobyl.. The nuclear explosion at chernobyl was ten times worse than what happened when America dropped a nuclear bomb in Hiroshima.

Another episode looks at the Massacre At Columbine High. The show offers an insight into the minds of two students who opened gunfire in a school. The Last Hour of Flight 11 looks at the 9/11 terrorist attack on America three years ago. This show is a countdown from the moment passengers boarded Flight 11 to the split second before the plane crashed into the tower.

What is interesting is that the show uses a split screen format. The channel will also look at the animal kingdom in-depth with a series Raw Nature. The show looks at the mechnaisms by which different species survive. Strategies are examined in terms of their defence methods, their modes of aggression, their habitat and competition. The one-hour show airs every Friday at 8 pm.
