MUMBAI: The Jackson escapade seems to have drawn viewers towards the Grammys which were seen by 26.3 million viewers, making the show the third-most watched Grammy telecast of the last 10 years, according to Nielsen Media Research.

CBS also announced that the Grammys helped it win the first full week of the February sweeps, despite Fox's American Idol. CBS has stated that its research estimated that 57 million viewers watched all or part of the show. The show won the 8-11 pm time period in households, viewers and key demos with its best delivery since 2001.
