Star wins 5 Golds and 1 Silver at Promax / BDA India 2010

MUMBAI: STAR has bagged six awards at the Promax BDA India Awards held in Mumbai on 19 and 20 May. STAR‘s excellence in broadcast design promotion is recognized in a wide range of disciplines including on-air and off-air campaigns, graphics, art direction and collaterals.

Channel [V]‘s innovative campaign to wake people up and get them to vote during the 2009 elections in India won the channel 2 golds:

" Gold - Best Promotional Campaign for Vote Ya Vaat
" Gold - Best Public Service Announcement for Vote Ya Vaat

The channel also won 1 gold and 1 silver in the following categories:
" Gold - Best On-Air Ident Design (In-House) for Bhai Id
" Silver - Something for Nothing for Mantra Id

Star Plus, No. 1 channel in the Hindi GEC space and the network‘s flagship channel, walked away with two golds in the following categories:

" Best Reality Promo for Music Ka Maha Muquabala
" Best Holiday / Seasonal / Special Event Promo for 16th Annual STAR Screen Awards - Shahid Kapoor
