Vikram Satyanath joins Lowe as Bangalore head

MUMBAI: Lowe India's Bangalore arm has a new business head. Vikram Satyanath took office yesterday as Preethi Maroli, the former Bangalore business head has decided to take a sabbatical.
 
 
Discussing the new appointment Lowe president and CEO Pranesh Misra says, "Vikram is very experienced and he brings on board a fair amount of strategic thinking in addition to managing offices. He has been in Bangalore for a while and will be a great asset to the agency."

Misra also points out that he hopes to use Satyanath on strategic projects and key brands. He adds that Satyanath is an intellectual who might come in handy outside Bangalore as well.

 
 
Speaking with Indiantelevision.com Satyanath said, " I had taken a sabbatical from advertising. But when I met such wonderful people, the offer was too tempting." The plan ahead for Satyanath is to build on the current Lowe brands.
 
 
Satyanath, who was operating as a consultant prior to this assignment, joined Enterprise Nexus in 1996 and went on to become director. He was with Enterprise till October 2004. Before Enterprise, Satyanath had stints with Mudra, Contract and O&M.

Some of the key brands that Satyanath has been hands on with are Brooke Bond, IBM, Sun Microssystems and Titan.
