Tissot launches heritage classic

Swiss watch manufacturer Tissot has revived the avant garde Classic Prince model and launched it 85 years after it was first produced. The Classic Prince draws upon the Art Deco style of the 1920s and '30s.

Tissot entered the Indian market in September 1999 and has since then developed a distribution network of 75 outlets spread all over the country.

Tissot's product offerings in the domestic market are in the sport, chic and regional categories. The models available in the sports segment are PR 50, PR 100, PR 200, PRS 200 and Atollo; in the chic segment Ballade, T-collection, Bellflower & Pockets; and in the regional lines Seastar quartz and automatic.

Tissot is a member of the Swatch Group, the world's largest watch producer and distributor, with 157 production sites in Switzerland. The Swatch Group is the official timekeeper and data-handling operator for the Olympic Games in Athens, Turin, Beijing and other cities.
