The Mediaedge bags Tata Engineering AOR account

NEW DELHI: Consolidating its relations with country’s leading conglomerate, Tata Group of companies, the Young and Rubicam group media specialist The Mediaedge (TME) has bagged the media buying assignment of Tata Engineering. The account was previously handled by FCB Ulka. There was no pitch for the account.

Confirming the win, TME president Divya Gupta said:“Tata is one of the largest buying assignments in the country. Since we handle media buying of 23 companies of Tata Group, the Tata Engineering account was a natural progression. It is also testimonial of the fact that we have delivered to the client in an increasingly complicated and dynamic environment.”

“It’s a sizable new account,” was what Gupta had to say on the Tata Engineering win. Tata Group had consolidated its media buying operations under `Group Synergy Project’ by appointing TME as its AOR in September 2001.

“Ours is the fastest growing media company in the country. In a rapidly changing media environment, clients are looking for media specialists who are accountable and can deliver the results. And TME believes in ensuring its clients this edge in the marketplace,” adds Gupta.
