Lowe LDB Media wins Sri Lanka's John Keells Holdings

MUMBAI: Sri Lanka's largest corporate house John Keells Holdings Limited has mandated Lowe LDB Media, Sri Lanka, as AOR for their entire business estimated at around Rs 200 million.

The win was assisted through a pitch that involved the Lowe LDB Media team, working closely with Interactions executive vice president Sudha Natarajan.

The finalists in the multi agency pitch included MediaCom and Starcom.

Lowe LDB managing director Keith Martenstyn said, "This is indeed a classic example of how the Lighthouse Cluster has worked together, to win an important piece of business. I am taking this opportunity to express our thanks for the key contribution made by Lintas Media, towards winning this pitch."

Lintas Media Group, India director Lynn de Souza added, "Our learnings through the brands who have trusted us, is showing fruit even internationally. It is indeed a great beginning for the Sri Lanka office."

John Keells Holdings are the biggest listed conglomerate in Sri Lanka and has business-interests in financial services, banks, insurance, hotels (40 per cent of Sri Lanka's rooms), soft drinks, ice creams, super markets, processed food, and plantations. They also own the franchise for international brands like Pizza Hut, Jet Airways, and DHL couriers, amongst others.
