MUMBAI: The International Gemological Institute (IGI) has launched India's first 'LaserScribersm' - Diamond Laser Inscription System for jewelers and consumers in India.

With the introduction of the LaserScribersm, consumers can personalise their diamonds by inscribing a message on the diamond for their loved ones.

The price of inscription ranges between Rs 300 - Rs 500 depending on the message and certificate number.
For memorable occasions in life like birthdays, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day; personalised messages like "You are the World's Best Mom" and "Sparkling Wishes on your birthday" can be inscribed. The state-of-the-art laser inscription service allows inscription of gem identification information as well as personalised messages.

Speaking at the launch, IGI India managing director Tehmasp Printer said, "Worldwide, diamond laser inscription is a much sought after and used service. IGI is delighted to offer LaserScribersm to the Indian jewelry industry and consumers. This should give the fast growing Diamond gifting trend a further impetus."

Some of India's leading diamond brands like Adora, Orra, Arisia, Ishis and Goldstar's Elinor that are exclusively certified by IGI have begun to avail of this value added unique service to provide added security and confidence to their consumers.
