MUMBAI: Everest Integrated Communications Ltd has appointed Mahesh Chauhan as the president of the agency.

The company announced that he will assume his duty on 12 April 2004. Erstwhile president Prabhakar Mundkur has resigned from his post to pursue other opportunities and interests.

Former Rediffusion DYR head, Chauhan joined Rediffusion's Bangalore operations 18 months ago. Prior to that he was working with Ogilvy, says a company release.

“In these few months Mahesh has done a sparkling job of building a dynamic team spirit among his people and at the same time, raised the creative standards dramatically. His track record, both within Ogilvy and Rediffusion DYR was excellent," says Everest Integrated Communications LTD managing director Ram Sehgal.
