MUMBAI: Emirates has inked a global partnership agreement with car rental company Hertz to offer the best available rates when booking a car online.
 

 
From now until 31 December 2005, customers can go visit www.emirates.com and link seamlessly to the Hertz online reservations system where they will receive special rates when hiring a car.
 
 
Emirates executive vice president commercial operations worldwide Ghaith Al Ghaith said, "This agreement with Hertz makes it more convenient for our online customers during this vacation season to book their flight and car at the same time, on the one website."
 
 
Hertz vice president marketing and sales Bill Jones said, "Hertz has a history of implementing very effective strategic partnerships. Our strengthening relationship with Emirates is good news for new and existing customers; by booking direct they can be guaranteed access to some outstanding deals and exclusive promotions."
