Aaren Initiative expands operations: AiPT gets web-based

MUMBAI: Aaren Initiative, the outdoor company of Lintas India’s Integrated Marketing Action Group, has bagged six new business accounts in the last 3-4 weeks. These include the outdoor business from the newly launched Awaaz Channel from the CNBC group, Sutherland, Indus League, Dena Bank and Tata Indicom (TN Circle).

In an endeavour to upgrade their services, Aaren Initiative has expanded its operations, by increasing the number of people and the offices. Aaren Initiative will now have a presence in 17 cities and will handle outdoor advertising in over 168 towns & cities for clients like LG, Pantaloons, Big Bazaar, The Hindu Group, Thai Airways, Indian Express, Mont Blanc, Mutual Funds and others.

AiPT (Aaren Initiative Planning Tool), the map, picture and rating based outdoor planning tool has now been upgraded with data on over 10600 hoardings in 12 cities. The plan is to put AiPT on the web, as an exclusive offering to Aaren Initiative clients, from May 2005.

"It’s been a great run for Aaren Initiative and we are proud to be bringing professionalism in an industry characterised by shady players and unscrupulous agencies. Our clients are recognising this and that is resulting in our success. Aaren Initiative, as a policy, has decided not to be over dependent on any one industry, hence the diverse new business wins", says Lintas India IMAG director Ashish Bhasin.
