    MUMBAI: Shemaroo Entertainment, in association with Toyota, has released the world?s first management film Chanakya Speaks-The Seven Pillars for Business Success based on Chanakya?s teachings on DVDs.

    ?Chanakya Speaks - The Seven Pillars for Business Success? is an attempt to simplify the teachings of Chanakya from the Arthashastra, and make them relevant for today?s aspiring leaders in business and life. One of the ?Construct for Governance? in the book Kautilya?s Arthashastra is called ?The Saptangas? - meaning "The Seven Pillars for a Successful Kingdom". For the first time in History, The Seven Pillars will be unveiled to the world through an entertaining yet powerfully educating Film for Business success.

    Directed by Vasudevan Srinivasan, The story revolves around the quest of a young business executive trying to rediscover Chanakya?s Teachings.     101 Mohd. Rafi features some of the finest work of the legendary singer.   • Shemaroo releases home video of Gali Gali Chor Hai

    MUMBAI: Shemaroo Entertainment has released DVDs and VCDs of Gali Gali Chor Hai.

    The film is a comic satire, where the protagonist is a totally believable common man, who doesn‘t turn into a superhero when pinned against the wall. The manner in which the story is presented onscreen by the film maker is appealing and spell bounding.

    Bharat (Akshaye Khanna) works at a bank as full time cashier and part time plays Hanuman character in the local Ramleela as his hobby. He lives with his father, wife (Shriya Saran) and a paying guest (Mugdha Godse). A local politician gets peeved with Bharat for not giving him a spare room in his house to set up his election office, and decides to get back at him. So he uses the help of the local cop station to harass Bharat in every way possible.

    The film is a light hearted movie with a pinch of emotions and social message. The film has Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran and Mugdha Godse as the lead actors.

    While the DVD is economically priced at Rs 299 each, the VCD is priced at Rs 115 only.

  • Buenos Aires 1977 on home video

    MUMBAI: UTV World Movies, in association with Shemaroo World Cinema, will release Buenos Aires 1977 on home video.

    The crime thriller, directed by Israel Adri?n Caetano, tells the true story of four men who narrowly escaped death at the hands of a military death squad during the Argentine Dirty War in the 1970s.

    The film revolves around a ‘task force‘ working for the fascist Argentine military government that kidnaps, Claudio, the goalkeeper of a B-league soccer team, and takes him to a clandestine detention centre. Claudio enters a living hell of interrogations, beatings, humiliations & betrayals.

    Alongside other young detainees, he battles to survive while awaiting his fate to be decided. After four months of imprisonment, with execution looking certain, Claudio and three other prisoners make their desperate move. Forcing open a window in the middle of a thunderstorm, completely naked, they jump into the void and their flight into the future begins.

    Buenos Aires 1977 was Argentina‘s entry for 2007 Golden Globes Awards in the category of Best Foreign Language Film.

    The DVD will be available on stands from 23rd February and will be priced at Rs.349.
