    MUMBAI: DID 3 auditions are just a ?click? of a mouse away! For all the tech savvy people, Dance India Dance Season 3 has devised a new way to make life easy! For the very first time, a dance enthusiast can escape the long queues and audition online!

    A participant can record his/her dance moves on any form of video format and upload it on the micro site www.danceindiadance.zeetv.com and get a chance to jump the queue and perform in front of the judges. With 2 easy steps one can upload videos of their performance, share it online with anybody and everybody under the sun. The top 3 performers who get maximum ?likes? will get a chance to perform directly in front of the three mentors - Remo, Terence and Geeta, at the Mumbai Mega Auditions.

    It?s a first of its kind initiative taken up by DID to allow contestants to submit videos of their performance on their micro site giving aspiring dancers residing in remote parts of the country a fair chance to participate in the auditions. This site will also provide all the details (Dates, Venue, latest updates, and news stories) regarding the auditions.

    So don?t get upset if you missed your chance to participate in the city auditions or could not make it to the nearest audition venue. Simply get your video recorded and click the computer mouse. Says who that life does not give a second chance? Just log on, share and prove that you were "BORN TO DANCE."

  • IAA Presents Advertising Master Class WithHugh Hudson

    MUMBAI: The International Advertising Association India Chapter (IAA-IC) in collaboration with MAMI (Mumbai Academy of Moving Image) is organizing a Master Class with Mr. Hugh Hudson who has been immortalized by his much awarded cult film Chariots of Fire (1981).This event will be sponsored by hungama.com.

    Hugh Hudson is a director-producer-writer, who has to his credit many award winning documentaries, ad films and feature films like Greystoke ? The Legend of Tarzan (1984), Revolution (1985), Los Angeles (1989), My Life So Far (1999), I Dreamed of Africa (2000) and Revolution Revisited (2008).

    Speaking on this occasion, Kaushik Roy? President, IAA-IC said, "This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for advertising and film professionals here in Mumbai, to hear the legendary film maker share his experiences and insights about his award winning work. He is one of the few recipients of the special Cannes Lion that was presented on the 50th Anniversary of the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, to those who have won the Cannes Grand Prix more than once!"

    During the course of this Master Class, Hugh Hudson will show and share his thoughts about some of his advertising masterpieces likeBritish Rail, British Airways, Fiat Strada, Benson&Hedges and more.

  • Race Ahead with Terminator Salvation on UTV Action

    MUMBAI : WLiving up to its path breaking reputation, UTV Action, the high octane channel adopts a unique innovation to promote its Movie of the Month ? ?Terminator Salvation?. Based on the concept of the sci-fi blockbuster, the channel created an exciting game that tests the racing skills of participants on a movie theme based racing track board. The activation started on 14th September and will go on till 16th September across media agencies in Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi and will be carried out by Jagran Solutions.

    The specially designed game tests the racing skills of players as they are made to tactically move a battery operated car through strategically placed red lights and creatures inspired from the movie. The catch in the game is surpassing these obstacles which will force the player to change his/her path and yet reach the finish line in record time. With each player facing a minimum of 3 obstacles, only those who manage to finish the race in the shortest time span will win the coveted Terminator Salvation title and goodies from UTV Action.

    Speaking on the innovation, Sameer Ganapathy, Business Head, UTV Action said, ?This being the first time that Terminator Salvation will be shown in Hindi on Indian Television, we wanted people to experience the true essence of the film though a special on ground activation. The racing game has been designed keeping in mind the same and allows participants to enjoy in true Terminator style.?

    ?The idea was to create an engaging activity which would involve people and also give them a rationale of the film. Keeping this in mind we designed a racing track against the backdrop of Terminator Salvation and added elements from the film to capture the interest of the audience.
