Indiagames announces expansion of European operations

 MUMBAI: Global mobile content publisher Indiagames Ltd. has announced the expansion of its European operations and the appointment of Steve Gordon as director, Sales and Marketing - Europe.
 
Gordon joins Indiagames from Vodafone UK, where he served as Head of Games. At Vodafone, Steve served as a key executive in building and developing the Vodafone Live games business over the past 3 years. Steve took a JAVA games business worth thousands and built it into a multi-million pound operation in revenue terms, establishing Vodafone as a market leader in the process. He has always been a key evangelist for mobile games; running roadshows throughout the UK and signing an exclusive deal with the no.1 UK games magazine publisher for the publication of Mobile Gamer.

Commenting on the development, Indiagames CEO Vishal Gondal said, "Though we have existing strong relationships with key European players like Vodafone, Telefonica, Orange and T-Mobile we believe that a strong local presence will provide a boost to our European business. We are very excited to have Steve as part of the Indiagames team."
