CA Media exits, sells OML gaming biz to Nodwin for Rs 73 cr  
South Asia-based esports company Nodwin Gaming which is also an independent subsidiary of Nazara Technologies Ltd has acquired the gaming and adjacent IP business of OML Entertainment for Rs 73 crores. The mega-deal will provide partial liquidity to OML Entertainment shareholders, including CA Media.

World's top 50 luxury brands lose over $7 bn in value this year: Report  
The total value of the world's top 50 most valuable luxury and premium brands has declined by five per cent year-on-year, according to the Brand Finance Luxury & Premium 50 2021 report. As the world grapples with the fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic, these brands witnessed a downturn from $227.1 billion in 2020 to $219.5 billion in 2021, it said.

Netflix's India ambitions surpass Rs 3000 crore investment  
Global streaming platform Netflix will pump more money into producing content in India, said chief executive officer Reed Hastings. The key executive of the streaming giant was speaking to Business Today's global business editor Udayan Mukherjee in an interview. The company has already pumped in Rs 3,000 crore in the past two years to develop original programming, particularly focused on local content, and more investments are in the offing.
