The channel will air specially curated films to honour the regional soldiers.

Mumbai: This Independence Day, Bhojpuri channel ZEE Biskope pays homage to the brave soldiers with the launch of 'Bharat Ke Shaan Bhojpuriya Jawaan' - a film festival especially curated to showcase and honour the strength of the Bhojpuriya soldiers. The festival will be unveiled on 15 August from 9 am to 9 pm with a film line-up that features the biggest superstars from the region.

The schedule will kick off with India vs Pakistan at 9 am starring Arvind Akela Kallu, Nidhi Jha, Nisha Dubey, and Priyanka Pandit in prominent roles, followed by Border at 12 noon featuring the popular duo Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Niruaha’ and Amrapali Dubey in leading roles; Army Ki Jung starring Arun Ojha, Kanak Pandey, Brijesh Tripathi, Mohan Singh and Jyoti Kalashat 3 pm; and concluding with Maa Tujhe Salaam at 6 pm which stars Pawan Singh, Madhu Sharma, and Akashra Singh in leading roles.
