Mumbai: With another weekend upon us, it is time to unwind with the latest Q&A edition of Indiantelevision.com’s Weekend Unwind—a series of informal chats that peek into the minds of corporate executives through a fun lens in an attempt to get to know the person behind the title a little better.

This week's session features Sportz Interactive deputy CEO Siddharth Raman, who leads the business development and client success teams and is responsible for identifying new opportunities to expand the company’s footprint across sports and geographies.

Sportz Interactive is a one stop shop; it is a sport-focused digital solutions firm with a comprehensive product portfolio across technology, data and content.

An alumnus of MICA, Ahmedabad, Raman graduated as the best all-round performing student in the class of 2012. Prior to Sportz Interactive, he kickstarted his career in sports marketing with the UB Group where he worked with the Sahara Force India Formula One Team and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

He also had a successful stint at DDB Mudra Group as an integral member of the group CEO & managing director’s office to set up the sports business vertical with an impressive client roster that included Puma, Premier Futsal, FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017, Twitter and Bengal Warriors.

Joining Sportz Interactive in 2017 as chief business officer, Raman was directly responsible for the content management business vertical which included digital marketing strategy, video production and social media marketing for leading broadcasters, leagues, teams and brands in sport.

An accomplished media professional and a devotee at the altar of Federer, Tendulkar and Kohli, Raman excels at combining his passion for sport with a keen ability to drive business value.
