Bonito Designs on boards Rishi Sharma as chief marketing officer

Sharma’s total work experience spans over two decades.

Mumbai: Bespoke home décor and design solutions and premium interior design company, Bonito Designs strengthening their leadership team – has brought Rishi Sharma on board as chief marketing officer. Sharma will work very closely with Bonito Designs' CEO Amit Parsuramka.

With his deep knowledge and specialisation in brand management, marketing communications, performance marketing, product management, and market research, Sharma will primarily focus on facilitating growth and increasing revenue by developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that will promote brand recognition, giving the organisation a competitive advantage.

Sharma joins the company after a stint with Zolostays Property Solutions, where he was the chief marketing officer, based out of Bangalore. His primary responsibility included working very closely with the founders on strategy and growth plans, with a special focus on brand management, revenue growth, community engagement, brand experience, and alliance partnerships. Sharma’s total work experience spans over two decades and includes some very fruitful stints with organisations like Grasim Industries (Aditya Birla Group), Samsung India Electronics, McCann-Erickson, and Havas Worldwide.

Speaking on his appointment and his plans for Bonito Designs, Sharma said, "I am thrilled to be a member of Bonito’s dynamic leadership team and the company’s amazing future. The opportunity is a perfect blend of emotional & data intelligence, making the role very exciting. My focus will be on making Bonito a loved brand by investing heavily in digital infrastructure, consumer insights, and customer experience."

This year, Bonito Designs brought on board iconic interior designer Gauri Khan and India’s leading couture designer Manish Malhotra to curate bespoke homes for its customers in Mumbai and Bangalore. This partnership has significantly elevated the brand’s standing in these cities, adding value to the homes they create. The brand has grown into a powerhouse with experts that not only offer personalised design solutions to their customers but also make celebrity-designed homes accessible to everyone. By the end of March 2023, Bonito Designs will have covered four million square feet of home deliveries in the country.
