Star Sports has announced that it will telecast the final
of this year's UEFA Cup competition live from Rotterdam.
Feyenoord
square off against Borussia Dortmund at midnight on 9 May.
The show will be repeated at 8 pm the same day. Last year,
Liverpool beat Alaves 5-4 with an extra-time golden goal.
Feyenoord have the home advantage as this match will be
played in their own De Kuip Stadium. Both teams are previous
European Cup winners (Feyenoord in 1970, Dortmund in 1997).
Feyenoord won the 1974 UEFA Cup beating Tottenham Hotspur
over two legs. Dortmund were losing finalists in 1993, losing
heavily to Juventus over two legs.
