Mumbai. The event was also be graced by Mr. Ravi Narayan from NSE
and Mr. Gangan Rai from NSDL and Mr. Sudip Bandopadhyaya, Director
and CEO, Reliance Money.
Speaking
on the occasion, Mr. C B Bhave, Chairman, SEBI said "With the
launch of Money Yatra investor education, I would like to congratulate
CNBC Awaaz for this initiative. It gives me great pleasure to be
present at the launch and this effort by CNBC Awaaz should be applauded,
especially as Money Yatra travels outside the metropolitans.
But
I sincerely hope that this initiative will be conducted in different
languages as per the cities they visit, because in places other
that the metros, the audience tends to reduce by 2/3rd due to the
communication gap.
My
humble request to those who will embark on this journey of Money
Yatra's education series, is to create a data bank of the issues
learnt and analyze them. Lastly in the Money Yatra we have to make
sure one thing, that it should not be a monologue but a dialogue
that can help in solving the investor's issues"
Money
Yatra will be a one point destination of each Indian citizen where
he can get information & advice on personal financial planning
from renowned experts to achieve the desired financial goals.

building initiatives and interactive programming has helped us become
India's no1. Business News Channel. We have pioneered the concept
of educating retail investors of India, Money Yatra endeavors to
reach out to masses and educate them about financial planning and
clear their apprehensions and empower them to make informed decisions
by answering their queries. This initiative is an extension of Pehla
Kadam-which is also an effort to help the first time investors to
manage their money in a safer and better manner."
CNBC Awaaz through Money Yatra will provide a platform for the common
man to get information & advice on personal financial planning

to diversify the investment in different asset classes to reduce
