9X consolidates its No. 3 position and hits a century both on TAM and aMap

 

MUMBAI: For the second week running, on both TAM and aMap, 9X is No. 3 Hindi General Entertainment Channel in both C&S 15-24 yrs and in C&S 4+ yrs in Week 18 – 2008. In the key demographic segment of C&S 15-24 yrs, 9X has hit a century by garnering a massive 114 GRPs. Similar trend was also observed in the aMap data reporting 100 GRPs for 9X in C&S 15-24 yrs. This is as per Week 18/2008 data released by TAM for Hindi Speaking Markets, and by aMap for West, East and North.

Per TAM, the GEC report card for Week 18, C&S 15-24 yrs is as follows:

9X – 114 GRPs; Star Plus - 296 GRPs; Zee - 198 GRPs; NDTV Imagine - 81 GRPs; Sony - 79 GRPs; Star One - 81 GRPs; Sahara One - 81 GRPs.

Per TAM, the GEC report card for Week 18, C&S 4+ yrs is as follows:

9X - 93 GRPs; Star Plus - 301 GRPs; Zee - 210 GRPs; NDTV Imagine - 76 GRPs; Sony - 76 GRPs; Star One - 65 GRPs; Sahara One - 70 GRPs.

Simultaneously, INX Network's music channel 9XM continues to be at the top with a huge lead, in the music category across both demographic – C&S 15-24 yrs and C&S 4yrs+

Per TAM, the Music Channel report card for Week 18, C&S 15-24 yrs is as follows:

9XM – 79 GRPs; MTV – 33 GRPs; Channel [V] – 13 GRPs.

Per TAM, the Music Channel report card for Week 18, C&S 4+ yrs is as follows:

9XM – 56 GRPs; MTV – 19 GRPs; Channel [V] - 8 GRPs.

Within 6 months of operations, INX Media has garnered an unprecedented 193 GRPs (C&S 15-24 yrs, per TAM Week 18-2008) through its Channels - 9X and 9XM.
