Indias hottest radio station in association with ICICI Prudential
Health Solutions announced the winners of Har Ghar Healthy
a first of its kind fitness face off across residential societies
in Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai. The
Chairperson, Secretary and the healthiest family of the winner society
were invited to the Radio Mirchi studio in their respective cities
and were felicitated with the healthiest family trophy.
Shri
Ganesh Aangan, Kandivli (Mumbai); Aravali Appartments, Alakananda
(Delhi); Kanchan Bhoomi, Anand Nagar Road (Ahmedabad); Esteem Gardnia,
Sahakar Nagar (Bangalore); Keerthi Apts, Amarpeth (Hyderabad) and
Ceebros Gardens, Virungambakkam (Chennai) were the winners in their
respective cities.
Radio
Mirchi Activation traveled across the country to shortlist the societies.
The basic criteria for selection of societies were a minimum of
125 flats and a common club or garden area where the fun-filled
activities could be carried out in true Mirchi style! Residents
were invited for an interactive discussion with a prominent dietician
who carried out a BMI (Body Mass Index) check. In addition, participants
(2 to 4 members from the same family) were to undergo a fitness
test Fit Hai To Hit Hai, which included games like balancing ones
body on one leg, weight lifting, skipping, push ups etc. to win
the Healthiest Family trophy. Other entertaining and health-centric
games included Tug of War, Health Housie and Main Aur Mere Papa
and the winner of each game was gratified with Har Ghar Healthy
goody bags.

team went out in full force in their efforts to spread awareness
about health and health insurance, even giving out basic health
tips through numerous capsule programs. In fact, Radio Mirchi took
the activity to a whole new level by creating a character called
Health Havaldaar. Unlike the distinctive potbellied
Indian Havaldaar, this healthier version walked around the city,
spotting people indulging in unhealthy activities and gave them
a Healthy goody bag. Since this entire activity was about people
and their well-being, the excitement of various participants was
played out on air and their cheers filled the entire city of Hyderabad.
