STAR Sports, Asia's leading sports broadcaster, will beam LIVE pulsating
action from the Malaysian Grand Prix and Barclays Premier League.
In Soccer, the Super Sunday will see Manchester United take on Liverpool
while Arsenal will meet Chelsea. In all, the sports broadcaster
will showcase as many as 6 matches live from the Barclays Premier
League.
Action
from Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix
The second race of the season will be broadcast LIVE from the Sepang
International Circuit, Malaysia, where the teams will face tougher
conditions. The Sepang Circuit, designed by Hermann Tilke, is one
of the most technical circuits in Formula One. The combination of
long high-speed straights and tight twisting complexes make the
track very complicated, though it provides perfect opportunities
for drivers to overtake because of the wide tracks. With 56 laps
and a track distance of around five and a half kilometers, the Sepang
Circuit along with Malaysia's special atmosphere will create a unique
experience in Formula One.
Action
from Barclays Premier League
This has been an exciting year for the Barclays Premier League as
the top four teams are within striking distance of each other. Manchester
United currently leads the points table with 70 points while Arsenal
& Chelsea are close behind with 67 and 70 points respectively.
Liverpool is currently 4th in the league with 59 points. This Sunday,
the big four meet each other as Manchester United take on Liverpool
at Anfield and Arsenal meet Chelsea at the Emirates. Sunday will
be important for all the teams in their pursuit to win the title.
