MUMBAI:
The Lahore Badshahs rise in the Edelweiss 20s Challenge has been
mercurial. The entire Badshahs machinery, starting with their stalwarts
Inzamam, Saqlian & Azhar Mahmood to talented youngsters like
Farhat, Nazir having been firing all cylinders, to make the Badshahs
the most dominant team at the end of the first week of the highly
competitive Edelweiss 20s Challenge. The Badshahs have already beaten
both the finalists of the inaugural ICL 20s tournament comprehensively.
In
the forthcoming league matches of the Edelweiss 20s Challenge, the
Badshahs take on the Mumbai Champs (21st March), Delhi Giants (23rd
March), Kolkata Tigers (26th March) & the 2nd new team in this
edition, Ahmedabad Rockets (30th March). The big question is
DO ANY OF THESE TEAMS HAVE IT IN THEM TO STOP THE IMPRESSIVE BADSHAHS???
Mumbai
Champs: The Champs who are yet to register a win so far, face the
toughest challenge on 21st March when they take on the Badshahs.
Some how if their talented batsmen including the likes of Jadhav,
Patil & Powar translate their talent into performance on the
field, then one can expect the Champs to push the Badshahs on the
back-foot with their impressive bowling line up led by Kasprowicz,
Best & Van-Der- Wath
