Sharing a lighter moment with Nagesh Kukunoor while promoting their
film Bombay to Bangkok on Zee TV’s L’il Champs,
Shreyas Talpade said “I think I should donate a share of my
earnings to Zee TV. I owe my success to the channel and particularly,
Sa Re Ga Ma Pa” The actor who wowed the nation with
his easygoing portrayals in films like Dor and Om Shanti
Om, has promoted all his successful films on Zee’s music
reality shows, year after year. It all started with Dor that he
promoted on Li’l Champs 2006. He followed it up by promoting
Om Shanti Om on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 and
he was back on Li’l Champs 2007 recently promoting his latest
caper, a romantic comedy directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. Unassuming
and very approachable, the actor had words of praise for the little
contestants of the show. “They get tremendous exposure at such
a tender age and get seasoned very early”, he said. The actor
himself has been married to the stage ever since he was a child.
