MUMBAI:
94.3 MY FM, the Bhaskar Group radio station, launched a complete
Team India - Dil Se! campaign. The station initiated
a series of innovative on-air and on-ground activities to connect
with its listeners across India, including the display of the original
T20 World Cup trophy, live airing of congratulatory messages and
setting up of message board for the fans.
Setting
the tempo, and in an unparalleled effort, the station arranged for
the second piece of the original World Cup trophy to be displayed
for a day at their Jaipur station. The trophy was showcased just
before the finals and was flocked by thousands of fans who were
overjoyed to see the trophy in its original form. Having won appreciation
from its listeners for the historic effort, the station geared up
to be with its listeners in the historic moment of India winning
the World Cup. Just as Sreesanth took the last catch, MY FM RJs
went out on the streets in Indore, Ahemdabad and other cities to
give live updates of the electrifying atmosphere in the city and
jubilation amongst the fans.
MY
FM RJs aired moments of celebration including fans messages for
Team India, bursting of crackers, singing of patriotic songs etc!
In a very special moment, in the city of Indore, a group of 50 people
came together for MY FM and sung Chak De India on air.
Completely Dil se!, the station did away with its regular shows
to play super hits like Chak De India, Hum bhi hai josh mein, among
others. As a special gesture, while the other stations went off-air
around midnight, MY FM continued to air the frenzy till 1.00 a.m
and the station staff continued to receive messages and calls till
4.00 a.m.
Proving
its Dil Se commitment to Team India and its listeners, the station
has also put up a message board in the city of Bhopal. Excited fans
from the city and outside are pouring in to scribble their congratulatory
messages for the World Cup victorious team India. The message board
will be presented to Team India by MY FM on behalf of the listeners.
