At a bustling and happening studio of Radio One FM 94.3 on 21st
Sep '07, VJ Cyrus Sahukar and Nikhil Chinappa along with the popular
RJs of Radio One, RJ Sangram, Prince, Annie and Malini gave their
trade secrets and tips to the semifinalists of 'Coca Cola Radio
One College Champion' in style.
From
grooming tips to attitude in style from humor on celebrities to
city updates in time, the Radio One RJs and MTV VJs showcased their
skills to the competing semifinalist of 'Coca Cola Radio One College
Champion'. These 10 semifinalists teams, now in their second phase
of the contest will be competing on On-Air for the next two weeks
where the judges will select the final five for the final round.
 Each
of the ten teams will be given a one-hour slot each on-air with
two teams a day to showcase their skills based on a topic or theme
for the day. The celebrity judges (On-Air) and the audiences (vote
through SMS and online) voice their opinions on the best team out
of the ten teams. Five teams will be short-listed based on judges'
rating and audience's votes to combat in the coming weeks.
The
chosen five teams will further undergo the grind by churning out
their own innovative tune-in promos, show concept & scripting,
chats and monitoring their own shows. Each team is given a two-hour
slot a day (Mon-Fri) to spice up the air and prove their magic along
with the respective RJ's in the city on Radio One FM 94.3.
At
the end of 13 weeks of combat, battle, fireworks and entertainment,
Radio One would announce the winning team On-Air followed by a grand
celebration and party. The new 'Coca Cola Radio One College Champions'
will win exciting prizes both in cash and kind, from Laptops to
I-pods to two-wheelers. The winners get an exclusive week on-air
with Radio One FM 94.3, to host their own show. So lets see what
the city has in store this time.
