MUMBAI:
The unbelievably humble and courteous soul, a singer by profession,
Kailash Kher who immediately shot to fame with his famous 'Allah
ke bande
' trails his evolution as a singer on Radio One FM
94.3's, "BBC Ek Mulakat" on Sunday, September 16th 2007.
The programme, anchored by Sanjeev Srivastava, India Editor - BBC
Hindi, is broadcast every Sunday at 12 noon in Mumbai and Delhi.
A man, whose struggling days were harsh as the blistering heat of
the summer sun and long and dark as the never ending moonless nights,
speaks openly and honestly.
On
quizzing what his inspiration in life is, and the reason for his
soulful voice, Kailash says, "The way the churning of milk
separates the cream and the whey, my life has been somewhat like
that. After all those experiences, what's left of me is attached
to the soul and it sounds like I am singing straight from the soul.
"
