MUMBAI:
In a heart-warming gesture, MY FM - Dil se gave a platform
to blind students on Teachers Day, who got a chance to express gratitude
to their teachers on this special day. In a truly Dil se
move, 94.3 MY FM - Dil se, the Bhaskar Group owned radio channel,
gave Teachers Day a new meaning for the blind students in Surat.
MY
FM representatives distributed sweets and also arranged an antakshari
contest between the students and their teachers. MY FM also gave
momentos to the school teachers for their noble effort.
Says,
Sulakshna, a student, We are touched by the MY FMs efforts.
This is truly a special moment for us. We are thankful to the Radio
Station for airing our messages and letting us express our gratitude
to our teachers.
Says,
Harrish M. Bhatia, Business Head, MY FM, We decided to do
something truly meaningful on this Teachers Day and realized that
blind students and other specially-abled children are really strong
on their feel factor and that they just need a platform. Hence,
we decided to do this specially for them. Everything that we do
is Dil se and we are glad that the children loved it. It was also
an extremely heart-warming moment for us.
In
addition to the activity at the blind school, the radio station
also organized contests and promotions in other cities like Ahmedabad.
