India’s Pioneer Hindi News Channel, Zee News will showcase
year’s most stupendous cricketing activity “Annual CEAT
Cricket Rating Awards”, live on 18th October’07. It is
an extravaganza full of entertainment and cricket, which will be
shown on the channel exclusively.
Zee
News has branded the series of programming as “Champions Ka
Sartaaj” for its cricket freak viewers. There are various segments
and contests, which are essentially targeted at the CEAT Cricket
Rating, and imparting knowledge and entertainment to the viewers
on this side of the game.
“Zee
News Champions Ka Sartaaj” is also running an exclusive contest
“ Kaun Banega CEAT Cricketer of The Year”. Cricket fans
can participate and vote for “CEAT Cricketer of The Year”
by SMSing at 57575. The choices are shown in the frequently screened
promos on the channel. Two winners will get Gold passes to watch
the event. There would be a segment, which showcases the players
& the teams. Detail interviews with Mr. Sunil Gavaskar and Mr.
Harsh Goenka will also be featured in the segment.
The
channel, in its endeavor to promote the game, has lined up a series
of programming based on the event. “Champions Ka Sartaaj”
is showcasing some timeless memories of Cricket during the 60 years
old history of India – Australia cricket. Old interviews of
legends & clippings will be shown followed by some great moments
captured by the camera.
