MUMBAI:
Beauties from around the world will sashay, smile and squeeze into
swimsuits as they vie for the title of Miss World 2007. Catch all
the glamour when STAR WORLD televises the pageant live on 1 December.
Held
at Beauty Crown Theatre in Sanya, China, the two-hour glama-thon
will see over 100 contestants doing their best to exhibit poise
under pressure. From the swimsuit parade to the evening-gown segment,
the leggy lovelies will parade before a panel of celebrity judges.
The contestants will also share the stage with some of the world’s
biggest acts. In the past, performers such as Westlife, Il Divo,
Lionel Richie and Ricky Martin have graced the event.
Reaching
140 nations and over two billion viewers, Miss World 2007 is considered
the world’s biggest beauty pageant. Last year, Czech Republic
beauty Tatana Kucharova earned the coveted title. Who will take
home the grand prize this year?
On
Sat 1 Dec at 5. 30 p.m., the world’s most glamorous goddesses
steal the spotlight on Star World with the live telecast of Miss
World 2007.
