| MUMBAI:
As Premier League darts enters the play offs live on Ten Sports this
week, all eyes will be on Phil Taylor. The 13-time world champion
has now completed three league seasons of the Premier League without
a defeat and remains on course for a treble of title wins. Taylor
will face Dennis Priestley, fourth in the league season, in the semi
final in Brighton. Dennis the Menace Priestley is now
longer the dominant force in the game that twice won the world championships,
but he can still worry the current top player in the world, Phil Taylor.
In
the other semis Terry Jenkins will face Barney, Dutchman
Raymond Van Barneveld, who lost to Dennis Priestley in the last
league match of the season. Jenkins, known as the Bull
has quickly moved into the games elite but will have his work cut
out against the baby faced former postman. Van Barneveld is a superstar
in his native Netherlands and has won a hatful of titles including
four BDO World Championships.
