International is reaching out to viewers to help them enrich their
lives through mind, body and spirit with the launch of the first
show focusing on healthy living.
Learn
the secrets of how high-powered executives keep their bodies charged
and what keeps them from burning out prematurely.
Airing
on 20 May at 17:45hrs IST and hosted by CNN's chief medical correspondent
Dr. Sanjay Gupta, 'CNN Project Life' explores health, well-being
and vitality. Gupta a journalist, neurosurgeon, healthy living
activist and new dad introduces viewers to professionals
and industry specialists who find ways to successfully manage stress
and live healthy, productive lives.
The
series of three programmes airs over three weeks in May and June.
Each story features a case study illustrating how individuals are
taking steps to improve the quality of their mental and physical
health. Project Life covers topics from 'ultra running' in New York
to spiritual teachings in Bangalore.
The
first edition airs May 20 and explores the relatively new 'slow
food' movement, the antithesis of 'fast food' which is blamed for
so many health problems around the world. Also in the programme,
we meet a Life Coach who takes busy executives through their paces
to ensure that they're building in some personal time to exercise
and relax.

addition to the programme, an online component supports CNN Project

galleries, health tips, quizzes and checklists of practical tips
and information. There is even a daily blog chronicling the fitness
journey of a CNN staff writer. Also, the show is available on the
site in two streaming segments.
