MUMBAI:
Air India launched its second in-flight magazine 'Corporate', a
bi-monthly round-up of India Inc. and its movers and shakers. Enhancing
the travel experience of Air India passengers, 'Corporate' magazine
will be a glad tiding for the passengers who wish to keep a tab
on the latest developments taking place in the corporate world.
The
cover story features Ratan Tata, a perfect example of the traditional
world reaching out to the new with gusto. In the inaugural issue,
'Corporate' also features companies that have magnanimously initiated
Corporate Social Responsibility programmes in a bid to bridge the
social gap and promote welfare.
Speaking
about the launch, Mr. V Thulasidas, Chairman & MD, Air India
Said, "The global roadmap shines bright with India's presence
in it. Not only has the Indian economy set the global imagination
on fire, but has also forged relations in new business prospects
and further fostered businesses like telecom, IT, manufacturing
and aviation with new gusto. Wipro's recruitment stint in UK, the
buy out of Dutch steel major Corus by Tata Steel, the merger of
Air India and Indian on the anvil, etc. reflect India's global mindset.
'Corporate' comes at an opportune time when India is going through
a transition. Age-old rules are being rewritten, and replaced with
new ones that only recognize professionalism and hard work. I am
sure passengers will capture the same and feel the pulse of the
changing India Inc. through 'Corporate'."
'Corporate'
attempts to capture the rapidly transforming face of India in a
few pages. As the passengers reach closer to their destination,
'Corporate' will prove to be a pleasurable read and an intelligent
companion.
