MUMBAI: Catch the charm, danger, attitude, and the deadly attractive
smile of gun toting bad boys, materialistic bad girls and super
bad aliens on PIX all through the month of April.
Be it the typical lovable rogue, often from the impoverished working
class, trying to 'beat the system' and better himself, typified
by: Clint Eastwood in FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE or the charming Smith
in BAD BOYS or the seductive Stone in BASIC INSTINCT, they are all
on PIX this month.
The month begins with the Will Smith film BAD BOYS where he and
Martin Lawrence play detectives who have 72 hours to find $100 million
worth of heroin. Packed with comedy, action and drama, catch Will
Smith at his best in BAD BOYS on Thursday, 5th April on Perfect
10. PIX follows this up with some bad girl action on Cheap thrills
Friday with Devil in a Blue Dress at 8 pm and Basic Instinct on
Friday 6th April at 10 pm.
The Bad Action continues with the lovable rogues on PIX with TOPKAPI,
THIEF and THE TAILOR OF PANAMA on Perfect 10. But if you have a
taste for the eerie and the creepy, PIX brings you two must watch
films this month, THE COLLECTOR, the of story of an inept clerk
whose eerie hobby to collect butterflies takes a dark turn and THE
MUTATIONS, where a rogue biologist sets his sight on genetically
engineering a new species of human beings in a creepy and engrossing
saga.
Also in the month, PIX has a delightful Marathon lined up on Sunday,
22nd April starting from 4 pm to midnight. A two hour special of
Inside the Actors Studio with the Man of Action - daredevil cowboy
and one of Hollywood's most prolific Directors, Clint Eastwood,
sandwiched between two of his most classic films: FOR A FEW DOLLARS
MORE & THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY!

as the MEN IN BLACK, Will Smith & Tommy Lee Jones fight the
nasty aliens on Perfect 10 on 23rd April. Next up is the quirky
must watch 'I LOVE YOU TO DEATH' a modern classic with clever direction,
a stellar cast and ensuing misadventures which are really funny,
starring Keanu Reeves, on Great at 8 on 26th April.
But that's not all, catch the lady with the million dollar smile,
- Julia Roberts in a special three films marathon on 28th April
from 6pm to midnight starting with MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING, followed
by MARY REILLY where she essays the lonely but faithful servant
in the house of Dr. Jekyll Hyde followed by FLATLINERS, where she
plays a medical student who begins to explore the realms of near
death experience hoping for insights into life after death.
The month ends on a "Bad" note on Great at 8, with the
HOUSE OF GAMES, a David Mamet movie about a psychologist who agrees
to help a patient gamble to try to help him get out of debt, realizing
only too late that the game is not as simple as it seems.
