MUMBAI: Four hours of exhilarating live Moto GP action is the highlight
of Ten Sports Sunday, as the circuit moves to Spain for the 2nd
event of the 2007 season.
Motorsport fans will be hoping the event lives up to the first
of the year in Qatar, which brought a spectacular story as Australian
Casey Stoner won for Ducati against Yamahas favourite Valentino
Rossi and the Ducati of Dani Pedrosa. Stoner finally clinched victory
against Rossi by just three seconds after a pulsating race.
In the 250 cc race Jorge Lorenzo looks favourite to defend his
title after dominating in Qatar while there was a masteclass in
slipstreaming by Hector Faubel in the 125cc. It was a great start
to the season, where every round sees four hours of live motorsport
on Ten Sports.
The Jerez circuit was only built 20 years ago and is one of the
favourites of the Moto GP year with crowds of up to 250,000 spectators.
Its a suitable venue for a huge event this weekend on Ten
Sports, as the highlight of the channels comprehensive motorsport
coverage which also includes Grand Prix 2, Champ Car and the best
Indian motorsport.
