MUMBAI:True
to its style of constantly improving its news and shows, Times Now
is set to launch what it says is truly "India's only morning
show" starting today, June 27, 2007 between 7am to 9am.
Telecast
live from new and swanky sets in Mumbai, "The Morning Show"
blends news with a high dose of what the channel calls "real
infotainment".
"And
by real infotainment we mean, everything that makes your morning
viewing more rounded. Like easy to do fitness tips by the acclaimed
fitness guru Anita Dongre, unconventional movie reviews with Radio
Mirchi's very popular host, Jeethuraj, the best of blogs, vblogs,
and web search options on "Netscan", daily fortune-casts,
city events, and DVD picks on weekends" says Editor in Chief
Arnab Goswami.
The
channel says "The Morning Show" will be a far cry from
the fare available on other news channel and promises the viewers
a morning experience which will stand apart from any other news
channel in the country.
The
show will air 7 am to 9 am 365 days a year, and is the newest addition
to the armoury of the country's leading English news channel. The
channel promises that the focus on "real infotainment"
is not going to be at the expense of the news. In fact, the channel
claims it will have "more news per minute" than any of
its competitors on the new show that launches on Wednesday morning.
