MUMBAI:
Talk Asia meets Sundaram Tagore, a New York based curator and gallerist
who hails from Kolkata. A descendant of the influential poet and
Noble Prize winner, Rabindranath Tagore, Sundaram Tagore takes CNN
anchor, Anjali Rao on a tour of his exhibition in New York.
Tagore
strongly believes that art is a necessity because it deals with
the creative side of human beings, something we all need to express.
Tagore gives his views on the ever booming Asian art market, due
in part to globalization and the dissemination of Asian art across
the world.
Also
a celebrated author, Sundaram Tagore talks about the aesthetic reason
behind choosing large and abstract art pieces for his gallery. Tagore
is also one of the first Asian artists to have had a major exhibition
in Cochran Gallery of Art, a museum based in Washington D.C.

chat show, Talk Asia connects viewers with leading personalities
through revealing and in-depth interviews from the field of politics,
business, literature and entertainment.
