The search has begun, Channel [v], India's leading music channel
returns with [v] Get Gorgeous - the hunt for India's next hottest
face. Launching across TV screens on 7 June, 2007 at 7.30 pm, [v]
Get Gorgeous 4 will trace the Cinderella story for over 4 months
and take the viewers through high drama, excitement, joys, sorrows
and tribulations of the girls through this glam-reality television
show.
 The
first episode captures the enthusiasm of the winners of the past
three seasons as they share experiences of their journey in the
fashion world. But this year, the rules have changed. The panel
is stringent and the competition is tougher! Catch the excitement
of the [v] Get Gorgeous auditions that were held in New Delhi, Bangalore,
Pune and Mumbai where VJ Pia along with guest advisories auditioned
thousands of hopefuls who tried every trick in the book to get into
the competition.
Keeping
in mind the height, look, style of the contestant along with their
ability to walk the ramp, audition for a commercial product and
at times dance, the jury members comprising of designer duo Nikhil
and Shantanu Mehra, former Miss India Universe Neha Kapoor, fashion
choreographer Alison Kanuga, former model turned celebrity fitness
trainer Deanne Pandey, make-up artist Samantha Kochchar, ace lensman
Manoj Jadhav and fashion editor, Seventeen magazine, India Kushal
Parmanand, began short listing the contestants.
The
10 shortlisted finalists will be taken through a series of exciting
makeovers by style experts, culminating with the biggest reward
- an annual contract with Channel [v] and Elite Model Management.
Apart from winning the title of GET GORGEOUS 2007, the winner also
get an opportunity to walk the runway for biggest designers, international
ramp exposure and features in international fashion magazine.
Channel
[v]'s VJ Pia Trivedi, one of the most sought after faces in the
modeling world today, will host the series and take viewers through
their journey on Channel [v]'s Get Gorgeous. So come along, and
