swinging swords and fight for love with the action packed Blockbuster
of the Month – 'The Legend of Zorro' . Antonio Banderas
and Academy Award® winner Catherine Zeta-Jones return for more
swashbuckling action, adventure and excitement in this explosive
cinematic thrill-ride on 26 July, 2007 at 9 p.m. only on HBO.
The
Legend of Zorro is about Alejandro de la Vega (Banderas) fighting
injustice and cruelty in past ten years. He is now facing his greatest
challenge: his loving wife Elena (Zeta-Jones) has thrown him out
of the house! Elena has filed for divorce and found comfort in the
arms of Count Armand (Rufus Sewell), a dashing French aristocrat.
But Alejandro knows something she doesn't: Armand is the evil mastermind
behind a terrorist plot to destroy the United States. And so, with
his marriage and country's future at stake, it's up to Zorro to
try and save the two unions before it's too late.

Banderas as Zorro: Zorro (Spanish for Fox) is the secret identity
of Don Diego de la Vega (originally Don Diego Vega), a fictional
nobleman and master swordsman living in Spanish and Mexican-era
California. He defends the people of the land against tyrannical
governors and other villains, and is not only much too cunning and
foxlike for the bumbling authorities to be caught, but delights
in publicly humiliating those same foes. Alejandro de la Vega became
the heir of Don Diego de la Vega's mask and secret identity.
Catherine
Zeta-Jones as Elena de la Vega: Elena is the wife of Alejandro and
the daughter of Diego and Esperanza de la Vega. When she was a baby
Raphael Montero discovered the identity of Zorro, and acting upon
this knowledge had Diego arrested and in the process had Esperanza
killed. He then took Elena with him back to Spain, where she grew
up thinking he was her father, and that Esperanza had been his wife.
